 History

       The establishment of Hub of Talent for Minimal Invasive Medical Devices and Standardization marks
the beginning of creating a comprehensive ecosystem for the development of medical technology in Thailand.

      This initiative aims to reduce reliance on imports, enhance domestic production, and promote the

creation of innovative solutions that can be utilized both within the country and exported abroad.


      Beyond improving the quality of life for the public, the project strengthens Thailand’s potential

to become a regional hub for the minimally invasive medical device industry serving as a vital foundation 
for the country’s long-term and sustainable development.





 Objectives of the Center

    To develop a network of experts and professionals in minimally invasive medical devices at both national and international levels.

  1. Serve as a knowledge hub and database for minimally invasive medical instruments and materials.

  2. Establish standards and certification processes for medical products that are applicable both domestically and internationally.

  3. Support research and development (R&D) of minimally invasive medical devices to foster the creation of new technologies.

  4. Promote collaboration between the industrial sector and research institutions to drive manufacturing and real-world application. 

  5. Position Thailand as a central hub for the medical device industry in the ASEAN region.
